Bold's value is the context we collect on the endpoint. Data. Apps. Behavior. Users. AI. Our on-device, small language AI learns from that context, acts on the endpoint, and sends it to our platform. That’s where security teams investigate incidents, spot behavioral trends, and report on risk posture across the fleet.

But it's 2026. Who wants to be limited by UI!?

Filtering views, switching screens, and aggregating results just to answer a question? And when it comes to endpoint data risk, those questions aren't always so straightforward, because the context is layered and interdependent across those layers: what the data is, where it came from, who moved it, how it changed, what policy fired, and the list goes on.

We designed the Bold platform to surface the most important risks, show data lineage visually, and generate ready-to-approve policies. That commitment won't change. But in reality, business questions won't always fit into nice, neat dashboards and product tables.

That's why we built the Bold MCP Server and our new in-app AI Assistant.

They make everything Bold knows about your endpoints accessible through the most valuable currency these days: natural language.

Endpoint Questions, Answered in Natural Language

Define risk your own way, compare users across departments, or build an executive brief the product doesn't have a page for. Your questions, your KPIs, no dashboards or filtering required.

In short, you can access all of Bold's endpoint context, including data, users, applications, AI, and behavior, all using only natural-language prompts. Here are a few sample prompts that dig deeper or go broader across Bold data:

  • "Where is my most sensitive data?" Get a summary by content category, artifact, and sensitive element, plus where each type lives across your fleet and which devices hold the most.
  • "What are my top egress channels for sensitive data exfiltration?" Get every application ranked by incident volume, the channels driving the most risk, and recommendations for what to do about them.
  • "What are my risky AI applications?" Get your AI applications ranked by risk, each with its activity volume, first-detected date, corporate or personal account usage, and how established the tool is (well-known versus emerging).
  • "Give me a full risk profile on Jacques Cousteau." Get a full breakdown of his incidents, events, sensitive data touched, department and role, and an overall risk score.
  • "Give me full context on this incident." Get a summary of what happened, the evidence metadata, the data's lineage, the user's other recent activity, and an analysis of whether the incident is real and how to mitigate it.
  • "How has event blocking trended over the last 90 days?" Get an overview of what Bold is blocking, trending by destination, content type, and user, with observations and recommendations.
  • "When a user is coached on risky behavior, what percentage redirect versus override?" Get a breakdown of how users respond to coaching, which departments override most, and where policy may need a closer look.

Bold MCP: Bold Context, Wherever You Work

Our AI Assistant lives in the platform, making it easy to dig in right away while you're reviewing an incident or working through your queue. The value of Bold’s MCP Server is that you can access Bold context where you're already doing all of your other work: your AI tools.

But on top of that, you can also connect Bold to the rest of your stack, from other security tools like your SIEM and EDR to workflow tools like Slack or ServiceNow. Closing the loop on incidents and understanding your full endpoint risk profile requires context and integration beyond Bold. Because the Bold MCP lives in your AI client alongside your other connectors, you can easily ask questions across them all and take action with tickets or messages based on what you find.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Easily connect Bold as an MCP server in your AI client. Onboarding runs through the Bold dashboard and is simple to configure.
  2. Ask your endpoint data security questions in plain language. There is no query syntax to learn and no UI to master first.
  3. The Bold MCP's built-in tools run analysis across your fleet and return with answers, analysis, observations, and recommendations. Plus it can generate pre-formatted reports.
  4. Your AI client assembles the answer in one pass instead of a manual pivot across views, providing unified views across risky users, incidents, and data.

The launch toolset covers the full surface of Bold's data: event search, incident detail, policies, devices, users, application inventory, sensitive files at rest, and the MCP connections on your endpoints. We're continuing to build out tools, and the commitment runs both ways: from here, every new capability ships to the platform, the API, the AI Assistant, and the Bold MCP together.
