Senior Automation Infrastructure Engineer

As a Senior Automation Infrastructure Engineer at Bold, you will build the automation foundation that our entire engineering team relies on. You will design and build reliable, scalable automation infrastructure that engineers depend on every day to move fast and ship with confidence. The infrastructure that you will build will cover the entire technology stack: browser extensions, endpoint agent, cloud and AI.

This role is for you if you enjoy building the tools that make everyone else more effective, and you can work on multi-layered systems across diverse technologies and operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automation infrastructure used by the broader engineering team across their day-to-day development and testing workflows
• Build reliable automation coverage across the full stack: browser extension, endpoint agent, backend services, frontend, and AI components
• Develop automation solutions that work seamlessly across multiple operating systems and hardware environments
• Establish best practices, frameworks, and tooling that raise the bar for automation quality and reliability across the organization
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and data scientists to understand their needs and build infrastructure that serves them well
• Identify gaps in automation coverage and take initiative to close them

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in building automation frameworks and infrastructure
• Hands-on experience automating across diverse layers: browser, native agents, backend APIs, and frontend
• Familiarity with endpoint or systems-level software and the challenges involved
• Strong software engineering fundamentals. This role requires writing production-quality automation code
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of building tools that other engineers love to use
