Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Bold, you will be responsible for the quality and reliability of our next-generation endpoint security solution. You will work across a complex, multi-layered system, spanning browser extensions, endpoint agents, AI models, and large scale cloud systems, to ensure our solution works seamlessly end-to-end across all enterprise devices and environments.

This role is for you if you are passionate about driving systems to their highest quality in functionality, performance, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally with engineers across all disciplines to identify bugs and defects and precisely pinpoint their origin within a complex, distributed system.
• Build the reliability and quality strategy of Bold’s next-generation endpoint security solution.
• Build and maintain a lab environment with diverse operating system and hardware configurations.
• Verify the integration and performance of AI models within the solution.
• Test and validate agents and browser extensions and across Mac and Windows platforms.
• Design and execute stress tests and performance tests.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional QA experience, ideally in a security or systems software context.
• Strong fundamentals in testing endpoint agents, or similar system-level software.
• Experience with performance and stress testing methodologies.
• Proven ability to navigate and debug issues across complex, multi-component systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively alongside developers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing multi-OS lab environments is an advantage.
